KAHAMBU THILA

Kahanbu / Kahambu in Dhivehi (the local language) means ‘Hawksbill turtle’, known as Kuda Maafushivaru Giri / Kuda Giri. Another mesmerizing pinnacle where divers can observe Hawksbill turtles. The black coral trees surrounded by small glass fish are a striking feature of this reef. Its also home for frog fish, lion fish, scorpion fish, comet fish and white tip reef sharks.
